The Sesquicentennial Anniversary of the Civil War is a special time for public and academic historians, roundtables, re-enactors, sutlers and the sons and daughters of Confederate and Union veterans, alike. It gives everyone across America the opportunity to investigate, participate in and to learn about our heritage and the men and women who gave of themselves for the cause they believed was important to their country's very existence.
